A Prototype With A Publishing Problem
Be Formidable produces journalism and white-label content for other organizations. Its customers need that content to work in the email platforms they already use.
Formidable’s team had developed a newsletter-generation prototype in Lovable. It gave customers a starting draft they could customize, with paid options for help from Formidable’s editorial team. The next step was making the output usable beyond the prototype.
Develop The Existing Product
Formidable brought the product vision, customer relationships, and editorial standards. Loophole worked with its team to refine the generated newsletters, test the output, and connect the product to its publishing tools.
The work focused on the experience from a first generated draft through editing and export. Customers requesting human help also needed a path to Formidable’s team.

Make The Newsletter Work As An Email
Content that looks right on a web page does not automatically work as an email. Loophole refined and tested the HTML output, built Mailchimp and Constant Contact connections, and tested HTML compatibility with Beehiiv.
The team also worked through subscription choices, the editing experience, and the handoff for human editorial support. Customer and staff feedback helped identify changes to output quality and onboarding.
Keep Improving The Product
The engagement continued through production migration, website and publishing connections, and maintenance. When staff or customers found practical issues, Loophole helped investigate and fix them.
That gave Formidable technical support across both product development and day-to-day use, while its team remained responsible for the journalism and editorial offer.
What Changed
Be Formidable moved from an early prototype to a functioning newsletter workflow with tested export paths and continuing technical support. Formidable reported that testers found the input process straightforward; feedback continued to guide improvements.
The product gave customers a self-service starting point and a route to Formidable’s editorial services. It also gave the team a technical partner to keep developing and supporting the tool.
